Who Are We?

About Pioneers

Founded in 2014, Pioneers began as a face-to-face tutoring service and has since evolved into a leading provider of online literacy intervention, special education support, and Telehealth allied health services. Our transition to an online model has allowed us to expand our reach, offering flexible, high-quality support to students across Australia and New Zealand.

At Pioneers, we specialise in evidence-based literacy intervention, helping students with diverse learning needs and specific learning disabilities develop strong reading, writing, comprehension, and executive functioning skills.

Each session is professionally planned based on the individual child’s needs, current academic level, and learning style. Our structured lessons incorporate specialised strategies for children with disabilities or learning difficulties, supporting focus, executive functioning, and social communication skills.

Beyond academic tutoring, we offer a range of therapeutic interventions designed to enhance cognitive, language, social, and emotional development. Our allied health professionals deliver targeted support for speech and language development, fine motor skills, sensory processing, self-regulation, and emotional resilience. We integrate these interventions seamlessly within our programs, ensuring a holistic approach that empowers children to succeed in everyday life.

We support children from Kinder through Year 12, ensuring they not only meet but exceed their academic and or developmental goals. At Pioneers, we believe that with the right guidance, every child can thrive. Through our structured intervention programs, personalised support, and commitment to evidence-informed practice, we empower children to become confident, capable learners—ready to succeed in their education and life.

About Gabby

Pioneers Tutoring was founded by Gabby, an experienced educator with a Bachelor's and Master's degree, bringing over 16 years of expertise in teaching, literacy intervention and developmental education. Gabby’s journey in education is deeply personal—having struggled with confidence as a student, she understands the challenges many learners face in the classroom and in life. This firsthand experience fuels her passion for creating a supportive, engaging, and rewarding learning environment for every student at Pioneers Tutoring.

As a dedicated educator and a mother, Gabby recognises the importance of fostering both academic growth and self-confidence in children. She is committed to delivering tailored, evidence-based teaching strategies that address individual learning needs, ensuring that each child has the tools to thrive. Under her leadership, Pioneers Tutoring has expanded into a comprehensive online service, integrating literacy intervention, special education, and allied health support to help children reach their full potential in all developmental domains.

Gabby’s vision is to empower learners of all abilities—especially those with dyslexia, ADHD, ASD, and other learning challenges—by providing structured, high-quality instruction that aligns with the Australian curriculum. Through personalised lesson planning, innovative teaching methods, and a team of dedicated professionals, she continues to make a meaningful impact in the lives of students and their families.
