Designed to provide intensive intervention, our LSS sessions cater to students who are at least 6-12 months behind in their educational benchmarks and require more rigorous support than what is typically available in a classroom setting (Tier 1) or with standard tutoring (Tier 1 or 2). This level of support is considered Tier 3 in the Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) framework, which means it provides the most intensive, individualised support. Our program ensures that the unique educational needs of our students are met effectively, emphasising personalised and structured support to foster significant academic progress.
This specialised phonics program is tailored based on the science of reading and delivered by a tutor who is certified by us as a literacy specialist and has a minimum of two years of tutoring experience with these student groups. As members of SPELD VIC, our educators have specific experience supporting students with learning difficulties associated with Dyslexia, ADHD, ASD, among other challenges.
Intervention is targeted support provided to students who are struggling, aimed at helping them catch up and succeed academically or behaviorally, ensuring no student falls behind.
